A drama by Bernard G. High

Lunch (including Soup, sandwitches and tea or coffee) followed by a one act play.

When Violet Cavendish is at work, a girl arrives unexpectedly at her empty cottage and is recognised as her niece by a well-meaning neighbour. Left alone, the girl drops the pretence, and it is no pleasant surprise which greets Violet on her return, but a conniving escaped prisoner. Does she really want the money she demands, or has she an even more sinister agenda? A tense, exciting and topical play.
